Are you doing what you LOVE!? Kashlee Kucheran

Took a little break from work today to catch some rays! (Seriously, it's been crazy cloudy here lately and looks like El Nino is finally starting to appear) For the freedom of being able to take time off when I want to, I LOVE my career.  I love it, love it, love it, love it. I know many people who are also IN LOVE with their jobs in all different industries, but most tend to be fellow entrepreneurs.

Okay, I have a question for you:

Are you doing what you LOVE!?

If you DO NOT love what you are doing, then why are you doing it?
“Because I have bills Kashlee… duh!…”

I hear ya….when I started my career in 2014, I literally had $100 left in the bank, no income, a mortgage payment, car payment, all that jazz.  I had bills and about a million excuses why I should NOT start my own business, but I did anyway! 😉

I learned I could either pay those bills doing something I LOVED and made me happy every day -OR- I could pay those bills doing something I HATED and made me miserable every day.

Either way, I will always have bills. But my choice allows me to pay them AND enjoy my mid-day tanning break in Ecuador at the same time!  (I love a win/win!)

I've said it before, but let me say it again:

Life is too short to NOT do what you LOVE!!!!

I was at a turning point last year where I could have decided to go back to work as a Licensed Realtor, or even a Finance Manager in the auto industry, but that would have been a bandaid solution to my problem.  I needed an income, yes, but I also needed freedom.  I wouldn't classify freedom as a WANT, but rather a NEED.  Without it, I always have that dragging feeling in the pit of my stomach knowing that I am building someone else's dream.  Just that ‘ping' in the background of every day knowing that something is not quite right, but unsure of what it is or how to fix it.  For me, that was not having enough say in my future.

Are you doing what you love!? Right this very moment, if you are not doing something that makes you smile ear to ear every morning, ask yourself: “What WOULD?”  Then, my advice is, run to that thing full steam ahead!
