I’d love to share a bit more about what’s currently happening with Teamhiker and the stage we’re at.

Right now, Teamhiker is in the problem discovery stage, where we are actively conducting interviews with tour guides, particularly those involved in eco-tourism and adventure tourism. Our goal is to deeply understand their needs, pain points, and challenges in running successful tours while also growing their businesses sustainably. We want to make sure that the tools we’re developing will truly meet the real-world needs of tour guides, and that’s why their feedback is crucial.

We’ve also recently entered the Canada Startup Visa Program, which is helping us navigate the Canadian market and connect with the right resources, especially as we focus on eco-tourism. Our incubator, North Forge Technology Exchange, has been guiding us through this journey, and we are working hard on refining our product with their support.

At this point, we’re gathering insights, fine-tuning our solutions, and laying the foundation for a tool that we believe will empower guides all over the world. The next steps will be testing our prototype and building out AI-powered features that help guides improve trip quality, planning, and even discover new ways to monetize their services.
