This is a great hidden gem for non-Canadians (as most Canadians enjoy it already) but the OKANAGAN area of British Columbia, Canada.
I have a summer lake place here (in a city called Kelowna) and it's phenomenal. Whenever I am traveling worldwide no one has ever heard of it, but it's drop-dead gorgeous.
There are 800+ vineyards and 300+ wineries, with more medal wining wines per capita than any other place in the America's.
I would recommend going late May to early September for the best weather.
Perfect for people who love hiking, swimming in the lake, boating, wine tours, bike tours, fresh hyper local foods and fruits, nature.
