What are some of the weirdest things you have tried while traveling?

Could be food, experiences, etc...

I recently went to Grand Cayman and had a really fun experience at a place called Sting Ray City. It is about 4 miles off the coast, and the water is SO BLUE!!!!

The really fun part is getting to meet a sting ray up close. Plus, you get 7 years of good luck... but only if you do something a bit weird.

You have to kiss a sting ray!

I am an avid diver so this wasn't too out of my comfort zone, but I think definitely qualifies as a 'weird' thing to do while traveling haha.

(P.S., weirdest thing I have tried eating while traveling was a termite in Ghana ;))

Here are some pics of Sting Ray City, I highly recommend it if you go to Grand Cayman!

What a moment! What does that tour cost ? Is it a group or private ?
This one was private, and it was set up by someone else so I am unsure of the cost. But, group tours run about $70 per person. Well worth it!

You also get to go to another spot to do some snorkeling. Our guide actually was able to catch another sting ray in the other area as well. They are really used to people and super friendly.

That's actually really affordable. It's definitely a once in a lifetime tour.

The first time you go to a Hamam in Turkey can be a humbling experience
Us westerners aren't used to a very large and strong woman telling you to get naked while she literally scrubs the skin off your body.
So that was interesting for the first time.

My first hammam was in Turkey which is different from Morocco. There are local hammams in Morocco with different rooms that have different temperature for you to move around depending on your preference but you'll have to pay an attendant to scrub you down or go with a friend. My best one was in a hole in the wall place in Egypt.

I went back the following day it was good in Bodrum.
