What is the Traveler Dashboard?
The Traveler Dashboard is a free travel intelligence tool built by Travel Off Path. It consolidates the information travelers actually need — safety scores, entry requirements, visa status, travel advisories, customs rules, and mandatory fees — into a single searchable interface.
Unlike static travel guides, our data updates in real time. The Traveler Safety Index uses live crowdsourced voting from verified travelers, while entry requirements and advisories pull from official government sources and are reviewed daily by our editorial team.
We built this because we were tired of opening 10 tabs to answer simple questions like "Do I need a visa?" or "Is it safe right now?" Now it's one search. Every answer.

Our Methodology
Traveler Safety Index: Combines a government baseline score (derived from U.S. State Department advisories) with real-time crowdsourced votes from travelers. Votes are weighted by recency — recent reports matter more. Our editorial team audits data spikes daily to filter out bot attacks or viral misinformation before publication.
Entry Requirements & Advisories: Sourced from official government channels including the U.S. State Department, destination embassies, and consular databases. Updated as policies change and reviewed by our team for accuracy.
U.S. Embassy Security Alerts: We aggregate security alerts issued by U.S. Embassies and Consulates worldwide — the only centralized feed of its kind. These alerts cover demonstrations, shelter-in-place orders, regional conflicts, and other urgent safety information. Alerts auto-expire after 14 days and are updated as new alerts are issued.
Customs & Fees: Aggregated from official customs authorities and tourism boards, cross-referenced with traveler reports and updated as regulations change.
