Travel Alert IssuedSep 29
Problem: Monsoon downpours have flooded parts of eastern Bangkok and disrupted Suvarnabhumi Airport operations.
Why it matters: Ground-handling shortages may cause flight cancellations, baggage backlogs, and road delays, while localized flooding affects taxis and other transfers.
Advice: Carry essential medication and a change of clothes in your carry-on, use the Airport Rail Link or BTS when practical, and confirm flights with the airline.
