Sanya sits on Hainan’s southern tip, where palm-lined beaches, clear tropical water, and forested mountains make it feel far removed from the bustling metropolises you likely envision first.

This tropical resort city offers incredible beaches and scenery, especially at the 4 following locales:

However, if there's one must-see-to-believe spot, it's Hyatt Regency Sanya Tianli Bay, where it's not only one of the best hotels but boasts bubblegum pink shores.

You know what we're talking about — we've all seen those iconic, stoic stone sentinels known as moai, a mystery that to this day remains one of archaeology's great debates in how they were moved.

In fact, many casual admirers long assumed they were just heads, but excavations revealed full-bodied figures buried beneath the surface, some with intricate petroglyphs carved into their backs.

As fascinating as they are to see, what gets lost when visiting Easter Island is the “Island” part. It's an incredible beach destination, even without aliens' gift to mankind.
