Hello and thank you for your time and effort in doing this research for us. Do you know which resorts have this 2 for 2 deal in place yet? I’ve been trying to find the deals but doesn’t seem like any are active at the moment

Please be aware, maybe the hotels will open but not the beaches. According to the Riviera Maya News on June 11, 2020. "The Governor of Quintana Roo Carlos Joaquín González, shared a portion of the live broadcast in which he was asked about the reopening of beaches. He said that state beaches will reopen once the epidemiological traffic light turns yellow, which they are hoping, will be “in a few weeks.” The beaches have been closed for many weeks so it should have been mentioned in the story but I guess it is easier to just take a press release and use that as a basis for a story, rather than doing all the relevant research that a proper writer should have done.

Hi 'RR' - The most updated version of Cancun's reopening can be found here: (click HERE) (which this article links to) where we explain how public beaches are closed. We wrote, called and spoke directly with many representatives from the government in order to confirm Cancun's reopening. During our investigation, we also called some of the major resorts in Quintana Roo and 75% of them confirmed that guests are able to use the beach at this time. Some will not have their beaches open until further notice. Yes, public beaches will reopen when the light is yellow, but many resorts are allowing beach use as of right now. Thank you so much for your opinion on how my job should be done.
