US Coast Guard divers pulled the body from the harbour in Old Juan, Puerto Rico after the man fell from the Oasis of the Seas.
Crews were seen searching the harbour late on Wednesday night after a man went over the rails on the 10th floor of the cruise ship.
Numerous small crews darted around near to where the man is believed to have fallen into the water.
The person has not yet been identified and no other details were provided.
A roll call is currently underway to learn the man’s identity.
A Royal Caribbean spokesman told Daily Star Online: “Our security team is responding to an incident that occurred on Oasis of the Seas in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
“We are cooperating with local authorities in their investigation.”
The ship was moored on the Caribbean island after setting off from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

CBS reported the ship has been hosting an Atlantis Events cruise that caters to the LGBTQ+ community.
