An Instagram influencer spent five days in an Egyptian jail after climbing the ancient pyramids to take selfies.
According to the Sun Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, 27, shared a picture on Instagram showing what appeared to his feet dangling over a pyramid with the Giza pyramid complex in the background.
The American-Russian YouTuber wrote in a caption that the five days he spent in jail were “the very worst” and wouldn't “wish this upon anybody”.
However, he told his 3.1million followers he didn't regret it.
He wrote: “No words can explain what I just went through the past 5 days. I was loved up in Egypt because I climbed the Pyramids of Giza.
“I've been to jail many times but this one was by far the very worst.
“I did it for a good cause and soon I'm going to share the whole video so the whole world can see.”
The influencer has shared images of him climbing the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
The Egyptian Parliament made it illegal to climb the pyramids in November.
It's not the first time the YouTuber has found himself in trouble with the law as he has streaked at some of the biggest sports events before.
The prankster was arrested for running onto the field during the 2016 NBA and 2017 MBL finals.
Zdorovetskiy was also apprehended for trespassing after climbing the Hollywood Sign in 2016.
Vitaly's ex-girlfriend Kinsey Wolanski, 22, made a name for herself when she raced across the pitch in skimpy swimwear as Liverpool beat Spurs 2-0 in the 2019 Champions League final.
