Norwegian cruises has scheduled their reopening cruise for March 1st, 2021
According to the Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) website, one of the first sailings is a 5 day Caribbean cruise departing from Miami to the Bahamas.
Norwegian extended the suspension of cruising with the following statement.
“The safety, security and well-being of our guests, crew and communities we visit is our number one priority. We continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 coronavirus situation and the global health environment. With COVID-19 continuing to impact communities and ports around the globe, we have extended our voluntary temporary suspension of all voyages through November 2020 and cruises on Norwegian Star, Norwegian Spirit, and Norwegian Dawn through March 2021.”
For guests that are seeking refunds, Norwegian is issuing future cruise credits that can be used through 2022 according to their website.
“Guests who had an active reservation on one of the suspended cruises have automatically received a refund of their cruise fare in the form of a Future Cruise Credit which must be used one year from issued date for ANY Norwegian Cruise Line voyage.”
Guests who prefer to not take advantage of a future cruise credit for suspended sailings scheduled to embark beginning July 1 – July 31, can elect to receive a lesser refund to the original form of payment 90 days after submitting a Refund Form found here and must be submitted by no later than 11:59 pm EST on June 19, 2020.
On June 10th, 2020 Norwegian Cruise Line cancelled the upcoming 2020/21 deployment of the Norwegian Jewel in Australia and Asia according to Sea Trade.

This article is inaccurate. Spoke with NCL this morning about my Alaskan cruise planned for August 1 - 8. That is still on for now. No cruises have been canceled officially beyond the previously announced July 31 date.
