A 34 year old teacher from North Carolina who went missing while hiking has been killed by a “criminal organization” in Mexico.
Patrick Andrew-Braxton was last seen October 28th by staff working at the hotel he was staying at. The hotel was based in Urique, a former mining village at the base of Copper Canyon National Park.
According to the Facebook Group that was following the missing person case, a post revealed the Davidson College graduate was killed on October 28th by a criminal organization that operates in the area.

More than 100 officers from Chihuahua had been searching for the missing teacher. Many questions still remain as the body has not been found but it has been confirmed that the man is deceased.
Copper Canyon National Park is plagued by illegal logging which the locals accuse of being fronts to launder drug many for the cartels.
There is no word on how Braxton-Andrew was killed or what led authorities to believe he was killed by a criminal organization.
