Disney fans rejoice! There is exciting news for both kids and grownups alike. There will be a new immersive hotel at Disneyland Resort coming this summer. Whether new to Disney or lifelong fans, this hotel can be a perfect introduction or a time machine to rediscover the magic of Disney.
Disneyland, not to be confused with the even more wondrous Walt Disney World, is located in Anaheim, CA. The popular theme park has had hundreds of millions of visitors since being established in 1955 under the direction of the legendary Walt Disney.
The theme park is the main attraction for Disney lovers, holding 9 different unique “Lands” to explore. Characters range from classic characters like Mickey Mouse to modern-day Captain Jack Sparrow. Kids and grownups at play will get the full Disney experience!
New themes are implemented often, such as the current:
- Tale of the Lion King
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
Ticket prices range from $83 per day to $143, while there are various packages offered to cater to their guests' interests. California residents get a discount too!
Disneyland hours are 8 am to 11 pm Sunday – Thursday, and 8 am to midnight Friday – Saturday.
Disney’s motto for their resorts is “Welcome to Happy.” It’s safe to say they live up to those expectations. Often known as “the happiest place on Earth,” Disney Parks provide guests of all ages a haven to immerse themselves in Disney’s wonder. Staying at Disney’s hotels lets guests immerse themselves one step further.
The Villas at Disneyland is expected to open this September, but Disney currently has more options:
- The Grand Californian Hotel
- Disneyland Hotel
- Paradise Pier Hotel
Guests who opt for these properties can expect immaculate service, pristine pools, and Disney-themed rooms to set the mood for a fun day at the park!

Welcome to The Villas at Disneyland Hotel
A swank, colorful 12-story hotel will soon be ready to welcome guests! While the hotel is not ready to open just yet, Disney fans have a ton to be excited about, with online booking coming just around the corner on March 17 for the general public.
Disney Vacation Club Members will have early access on March 15 and Disneyland Magic Key Holders on March 16.
Located a stone’s throw away from the magical worlds of the Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Park, those who stay here will not have to deal with the hassle and annoyance of transportation each day.
Visitors should expect a wide range of various fun themes such as Fantasia, The Jungle Book, Sleeping Beauty, and The Princess and the Frog. This contemporary property will mix in classic characters and add new ones, all while celebrating the full gamut of Disney’s history. The facilities will also offer a sleek pool area for the whole family, a pool bar for the adults, and a brand new fully equipped gym.
The enchanting studios provide all the ‘bear' necessities and more to keep the entire family comfortable and never needing to leave the Resort. This room can sleep up to 4 guests.
For more space and amenities, guests can upgrade to a Villa that comfortably accommodates up to 9 people and comes with a washer and dryer. The villas are also equipped with a full kitchen with all the bells and whistles, including a dishwasher. Those inspired by Disney’s Ratatouille can bring the movie to life right in their hotel room!
For the ultimate luxury at Disney Resorts, there is an even bigger option for a multilevel villa. The Grand Villa will have limited availability but will offer 3 bedrooms where up to 12 guests can comfortably stay.
On the first level, guests will enjoy the benefit of having easy access to a full kitchen with a separate spacious dining area. For those chilly nights, a convenient fireplace nestled between the living room and private balcony can be enjoyed on both sides.
These luxury rooms and bathrooms will be decked out in a variety of Bambi, Frozen, and Moana themes that can be accessed from a sleek spiral staircase. Just like the smaller villas, a washer and dryer are provided in-unit to avoid the dread of laundry day.
