Bali is still closed for general tourism, but some people have been entering on 60-day business visa, however we have no information on that.

If anyone in your family in Bali has an Indonesian passport (one of the parents, children with dual nationality under age 18) then they can officially apply for a sosial budaya visa for immediate family.

Example 1: My Indonesian wife just obtained sosial budaya visa for 1 month for my 30yo daughter (vacation), and 6 months for my 32yo daughter (fed up with UK and coming to live with us.) Example 2: My pal works in Qatar, he is divorced from his Indonesian wife, but has a 6 yo daughter here. His ex-wife refused to help him apply for the Sosial Budaya visa using his daughter's name. So, his Indonesian girlfriend got him a sosial budaya visa valid 3 months under her own name - they have zero familial connection officially, but the authorities allowed it anyway. Rules are quite often broken / flexed in Indonesia - dont know if money was involved.

There are Intntnl flights into Bali, but everyone I know is flying into Jakarta, over-nighting mainly in airport hotel, and flying onto Bali next day. But I think that is because of price. Flights into Bali seem to be much more expensive than flying into Jakarta and taking a separate domestic booking down to Bali.
