Looking for low-cost flights in the United States? Budget carrier Breeze Airways just announced 15 new routes across the United States with fares as low as $39.
This will bring the total number of routes this fast-growing airline offers to 99, serving 33 cities in 19 states.
Breeze Airways, which just launched in May 2021, has quickly risen in popularity thanks to its affordable fares and friendly service. This newcomer airline even scored the number two spot on a ranking of the best domestic airlines according to Travel + Leisure readers in 2022.
The aim of Breeze Airways is to provide better coverage and connections to smaller cities around the United States.
Where Does Breeze Airways Fly?
The new nonstop routes announced by Breeze Airways will service the following destination:
- Akron, OH – Orlando, FL
- Charleston, SC – Cincinnati, OH
- Charleston, SC – Tulsa, OK
- Charleston, SC – Hunstville, AL
- Cincinnati, OH – San Francisco, CA
- Hartford, CT – Vero Beach, FL
- Hartford, CT – Phoenix, AZ
- Hartford, CT – Provo, UT
- Hartford, CT – San Bernardino, CA
- Huntsville, AL – Orlando, FL
- Orlando, FL – Tulsa, OK
- Phoenix, AZ – Richmond, VA
- Phoenix, AZ – New Orleans, LA
- San Bernardino, CA – Las Vegas, NV
- Vero Beach, FL – Westchester, NY
- Vero Beach, FL – Norfolk, VA
- White Plains, NY – Vero Beach, FL
These new routes, many of which will launch in early 2023, will join over 80 routes currently provided by Breeze Airways.

Two of these destinations (Cincinnati, Ohio, and Vero Beach, Florida) are completely new for Breeze Airways.
“Breeze provides fast, efficient, and affordable air service between underserved city pairs,” stated Tom Doxey, the president of Breeze Airways, in a statement to Travel + Leisure regarding the new routes.
Travelers from Hartford, Connecticut will be happy to see that they can now escape the cold and head to sunny Vero Beach, Florida or Phoenix, Arizona this winter, thanks to new routes launching in early 2023.
Similarly, New Yorkers will be able to migrate down south with new routes connecting Westchester County and White Plains with Vero Beach, Florida.
Never Heard of Breeze Airways?
Breeze Airways, which is headquartered in Utah, just launched in 2021. It was founded by airline veteran David Neeleman, who also founded JetBlue and WestJet.
Since its inception, Breeze Airways has expanded rapidly, quickly growing the list of airports they fly to and destinations they serve.
Their main goal is to provide affordable fares and connect cities that might not otherwise have a nonstop flight – Phoenix, Arizona to Richmond, Virginia, for example.
This opens up many new routes for American travelers who are looking for a getaway to an exciting destination.
Currently, two of their top hubs are Las Vegas, Nevada and Charleston, South Carolina, offering the most routes from these two cities.
But Breeze Airways has been systematically expanding its operations for the past year and a half and are poised to show even more growth in 2023.
How Much Do Flights Cost?
Breeze Airways has positioned itself as a low-cost carrier, offering affordable flights without sacrificing quality or service.
At a time when flight costs are skyrocketing, these budget-friendly fares will come as a relief to travelers.
Beginning in February 2023, the airline will fly from Cincinnati, Ohio to Charleston, South Carolina and San Francisco, California, with fares as low as $39.
Also, beginning in February 2023, travelers can fly from Vero Beach, Florida to Hartford, Connecticut and Westchester, New York, with fares as low as $79.
As for even more upcoming routes in 2023, it looks promising that Breeze Airways will launch more flights from Las Vegas.
According to a statement given by Rosemary Vassiliadis, Director of Aviation in Clark County, Nevada: “With these and other incoming new routes, Breeze has identified several unserved LAS markets and will soon make it even easier for travelers from across the country to fly to Las Vegas.”
