When you imagine a relaxing beach holiday, your mind probably wanders towards perfect white sands, tempting turquoise seas, and a luxury hotel that caters to your every need.
More often than not, Americans head to the Mexican Caribbean to fulfill such traveling daydreams, and it’s no wonder with destinations such as Playa del Carmen and Tulum to choose from.
But by far, the most beloved destination in this region is the ever-charming Cancun – not only a favorite among U.S. travelers but also recently recognized as the world’s most popular beach destination.
This dazzling destination is blessed with beautiful weather, stunning coastline, fantastic amenities, a well-connected airport, and a wide range of luxury all-inclusive resorts.
And that range of accommodations is about to get even better in June this year when a brand-new all-inclusive resort opens its doors.
Here’s why fans of Cancun are getting excited about the AVA Resort Cancun:
Luxury With A Capital L
The AVA has been designed by renowned architect firm Boris Pena and every aspect of it appears to have been made with luxury in mind.
Each of the hotel’s 1,743 bright and minimalist rooms includes panoramic views out onto that crystal clear ocean you traveled so far to see.
The rooms boast clean and opulent designs with features such as two-person bathtubs and double rain showers, while the larger suites and villas even include their own infinity pools.
Technology is also a big part of the habitation experience at AVA, with speedy free Wi-Fi, free calls to the U.S. and Canada, Bluetooth sound systems, and 24-hour room service should you need it.
Wellness And Dining
It’s hard to imagine a reason why you’d want to leave a room like this, but when you do eventually decide to explore the rest of this luxury oasis, you probably won’t be disappointed.
The AVA will have 22,000 square feet of wellness facilities, no fewer than 17 different dining choices with award-winning chefs from around the world, and a 2.8-acre sustainable bay.
And, of course, one of the main benefits of staying in an all-inclusive resort such as this is that all that delicious dining will be included in the price you pay to stay.
To further enhance that all-inclusive experience and to ensure you don’t need to leave, the AVA will have a host of nightlife options including a nightclub that will regularly host celebrity DJs and an interesting-sounding NFT bar.
Family Friendly
The AVA should also be a great place for families to travel to thanks to its kids club, which will allow younger travelers to enjoy engaging activities that are organized by age group.
There is everything from a toddler and parent play area through to a teen-only lounge for 13 to 17-year-olds that will include augmented reality gaming, basketball, an indoor pool, and snack bar.
Combine that with the possibility of arranging tours and excursions to see some of the Yucatan Peninsula’s natural beauty, and there should be something to please all.
Why Cancun?
This year could be the best time ever to visit Cancun – the area is booming in popularity and is an easy place for Americans to get to.
It will also be even easier to get around the Yucatan Peninsula from Cancun and see more of the fascinating sights thanks to the ongoing development of the new Maya Train.
The iconic Chichen Itza temple is on the route, as well as beautiful colonial cities such as Merida and Campeche – so it should be easy to go and explore different places on either a day trip or by staying away from Cancun for a night or two.
What Else Do I Need To Know?
This new resort will be just a 10-minute drive from Cancun International Airport, which is incredibly well-connected with many American destinations and new flights being added all the time.
The scheduled opening date of AVA, according to its website, is June 27 this year, and you can already book your stay.
