As of 9:00 am PST, Monday February 10th, 2020, the customer support center at Air Canada has stopped taking phone calls.

Customers at this time are unable to change, cancel or modify flights.
When customers call the hotline, they’re met with a message from the Director of Contact Centers for Air Canada apologizing.
“We are unable to place you on hold at this time”
The message explains that due to the Government of Canada’s travel advisory to China, they are experiencing very high call volume.
For some customers that were fortunate enough to get through, they’ve experienced wait times up to 2 hours and then have been disconnected before actually getting to speak to a representative.
Twitter has erupted with angry passengers that can’t contact anyone at Air Canada for help with upcoming flights.
