The hotel was found breaking numerous violations including operating during a time when non-essential businesses are prohibited from opening.

During the inspection, the manager opposed the closure and prevented prosecutors from passing until he understood that they had violated all federal, state and municipal health decrees.

The Municipal Inspection Directorate sent all guests and workers home for quarantine.

Yesterday, the Governor of Quintana Roo said tourism for Cancun, Riviera Maya and the state could see a reopening between June 8th and 10th.
