Mexico is by far the most popular international destination for American travelers right now.
Many travelers choose the white sand beaches of the Mexican Caribbean but the drier and rockier coastline of Los Cabos is just as popular and is growing in popularity all the time, breaking all-time tourism records.
Interested in exploring this beautiful destination? Here are 7 new resorts that are opening in Los Cabos for 2024:
Four Seasons Resort And Residences Cabo San Lucas At Cabo Del Sol
This new resort is due to open in early 2024 with a brief to be both small and friendly as well as offering pure luxury.
This will be the second hotel in Los Cabos belonging to the much-loved Four Seasons brand.
This stunning resort will boast just 96 rooms as well as 61 residences, villas, and estates. You’ll be able to enjoy 3 pools, each with an ocean view, as well as 3 restaurants, 5 bars, and a state-of-the-art fitness center and spa.
For golf fans, the resort will also provide unfettered access to the Cabo del Sol golf course.
The Beachfront By The Fives Hotels
The Beachfront by the Five Hotels is a boutique adults-only resort that will offer 50 beachfront and ocean-view rooms, each one as luxurious as the next.
Park Hyatt Los Cabos At Cabo Del Sol
The Park Hyatt Los Cabos isn’t due to open until late 2024 but when it does open it will make a big splash. It will boast 163 rooms plus 19 villas and residences, making it the biggest resort to open in Los Cabos this year.
The resort aims to offer a unique blend of luxury and comfort, with a home away from home feel and it is being constructed just 20 minutes away from downtown Cabo San Lucas. What makes this hotel unique is that it will be the first of its kind in Mexico to incorporate environmental care criteria into the construction process.
Facilities will include several pools, a private golf course, spa and wellness centers, as well as a huge space for meetings and conferences.
Grand Velas Boutique Los Cabos
The Grand Velas Boutique Los Cabos is now open.
This resort is an exclusive all-inclusive boutique hotel that will offer adults-only accommodation and is located in the breath-takingly beautiful area between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo. It boasts 79 chic and well-presented rooms.
In terms of facilities guests can enjoy 2 all-inclusive restaurants, several private plunge pools, and a full-service spa. The entertainment program will be the highlight here with activities such as tequila tastings, cooking classes, and other entertainment available to guests on a daily basis.
The Soho House Los Cabos
The famous Soho House chain is opening their first resort in Los Cabos and construction is due to be completed during the latter half of 2024.
The Soho House & Beach Club will boast just 70 rooms and the uber luxurious beach club will also be open to Soho House members.
Like all Soho House offers, the Soho House Los Cabos will be luxurious, exclusive, and available to members only. Little is known about the facilities that will be offered by this new resort at this stage.
St. Regis Los Cabos
Due to open in 2024, the opening date for the St. Regis Los Cabos hasn’t officially been revealed yet.
But what we do know is that this luxurious beachfront hotel on the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula in Los Cabos will boast 120 rooms and 74 luxury residences.
Facilities in the resort will include a whopping 7 pools and a private beach club.
Amanvari by Aman hotels
Originally due to open in 2024, construction delays mean the opening of the Amanvari by Aman Hotels resort in Los Cabos has been pushed back to early 2025.
However it is still worth mentioning as this uber luxurious resort will offer a peaceful escape and private oasis at the edge of the Sea of Cortés.
Facilities offered by this resort include private residences, multiple high-end dining venues, a luxurious Aman Spa, and a private stretch of white sand beach.
