What are the top trending destinations in the United States right now?
According to a recently-released report from Airbnb, these are the buzziest new destinations across the country for spring that are generating lots of bookings for the upcoming spring months.
Some are the typical spring break beach destinations you'd expect, while others are underrated city breaks or getaways in nature that are perfect for spring.
1. Augusta, Georgia
Augusta is at the top of the list for spring travel because it's the location of the annual Masters' Tournament, which draws golf fans from across the country.
This year's tournament will be held from April 6 through April 9.
Aside from golf, Augusta is known for its scenic Riverwalk and art and history museums.
2. Kansas City, Missouri
Kansas City is putting itself on the map as a hip city break destination in the Midwest, known for its vibrant jazz scene, great restaurants, and museums.
Some of the can't-miss museums in Kansas City include the National WWI Museum and Memorial and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.
3. Virginia Beach, Virginia
Virginia Beach is a great getaway in the mid-Atlantic region known for its lovely beaches and three-mile boardwalk stretching along the shoreline.
History buffs will enjoy the Military Aviation Museum that's located in Virginia Beach. There are also numerous state parks and preserves nearby for hiking and other outdoor activities.
4. Steamboat Springs, Colorado
Steamboat Springs is a popular skiing destination in Colorado that is great for spring skiing. The slopes are usually open until the first week of April.

5. Fort Worth, Texas
Fort Worth is becoming more and more popular with visitors due to its casual, laidback atmosphere compared to the extremely busy and more urban city of Dallas that is nearby.
It's a more affordable city to stay in than Dallas while still offering easy access to the city.
6. Tampa, Florida
Tampa is a city in Florida that is growing very quickly. There are many things to do in Tampa, from visiting the Busch Gardens theme park to seeing marine life at the Florida Aquarium.

Another Florida destination that is currently trending is St. Petersburg. Located close to Tampa, this city has a beachier feel to it and is very close to some stunning beaches.

8. Indianapolis, Indiana
Indianapolis makes this list because the city will be hosting the Final Four basketball championship this spring from March 31 until April 3.

9. Port Aransas, Texas
Port Aransas is a beach town in Texas along the Gulf of Mexico on Mustang Island. With six miles of sandy shoreline, Port Aransas is popular for swimming, surfing, and sunbathing.
This beach is known for its dolphin spotting, and there are various state parks and preserves nearby where you can go hiking or fishing.
10. North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Another one of the top trending destinations in the United States is North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Myrtle Beach has been setting new records in the past year, with visitors being drawn to its great Atlantic beaches and relaxing, laidback atmosphere.
