A Colombian national who went missing yesterday morning after going swimming in Kuta Beach was found dead this morning, the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) in Bali said in a statement.
“A joint search and rescue team began searching since early this morning… and the victim was finally located and immediately evacuated to Sanglah General Hospital”

The tourist from Colombia, identified as 36-year-old Lucas Barrales, reportedly went missing at about 10.45am on the beach in front of Anantara Hotel in the Seminyak-Kuta area.
Basarnas said they received the missing report around 1pm yesterday and immediately launched a search of the area, including a search by air closer to the afternoon, and continued their operation this morning.
Friends and family had been sharing pictures of the young father across multiple social media platforms in the hopes of finding him.
Barrales was reportedely on a family holiday on the island with his wife and child.
Double Six Beach is a popular tourist spot but locals have warned the swells can be dangerous for inexperienced swimmers.
One man said swells had been very strong this week, with reports of waves being up to 9ft.
According to the agency, Barrales was found dead and washed up on the shore about one kilometer away from his last known location.
