How does this affect passengers in transit? Will it be possible to transit at, e.g., Heathrow without a negative PCR test result?

From the information I have, I beieve the PCR test is NOT needed for people transiting, as long as they are not going through customs/entering the UK. The 'passenger locator form' IS still needed for transit passengers though

The US stopped testing because it did not work. They banned UK, Europe, Brazil etc and have quarantine place for US citizens. We need to do same.

pointless PCR tests...75%+ false positive/too high cycle count.

The problem is not getting into the UK. The problem is getting out.

I would also not travel to countries in lockdown to be honest. I'd like to eat and drink out and visit national parks, museums, cinema's etc: not possible when everything is closed :-(. Also wearing a face-mask all the time is quite uncomfortable in my opinion.
