The 2019 world's top airlines have been announced by Skytrax. After losing their title in 2018, Qatar Airways is back on top as the ‘World's Best Airline'. Qatar Airways also took the top spot for ‘Worlds Best Business Class' and ‘World's Best Business Class Seat'. This is the fifth time the prestigious title has been awarded to Qatar Airways.
Singapore Airlines, last year's winner was dethroned and came in second while ANA All Nippon Airways held their third place position for a third year in a row.

These are the top ten World's Best Airlines for 2019 according to Skytrax. The awards are seen as the most prestigious in the business and are decided on by passenger votes.

- Emirates
- EVA Air
- Hainan Airlines
- Qantas
- Lufthansa
- Thai Airways
In 2018 the U.S was snubbed and didn't walk away with one global award. This year they were able to snag the award for ‘World's Best Business Class Lounge' thanks to the United Polaris Lounge
The award for ‘Best North American Airline' went to Air Canada, which also claimed the prize for ‘World's Best Business Class Lounge Dining.
When choosing an economy ticket your best bet would be Japan Airlines as they scooped up the award for ‘World's Best Economy Seat'. Looking for the best low cost option? Air Asia won the award for ‘World's Best Low Cost Airline'
Executives from major airlines celebrated the awards ceremony held at the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget, France.
