One of the top reasons to visit Vegas is without a doubt the nightlife – home to countless casinos, clubs, and bars, it’s no wonder as to why. An amazing nightlife scene isn’t all this city has to offer though. Here are 10 out-of-the-box things to consider checking out in the city.

10 Out Of The Box Things To Do In Las Vegas

1. Meow Wolf

Meow Wolf is most simply an art installation, but this wholly understates the experience that this interactive exhibit offers. You’ll traverse a seemingly normal grocery store to discover a variety of otherworldly, interactive hidden rooms and exhibits. Tickets are available online.

2. Red Rock Canyon

Vegas might be synonymous with nightlife and other big-city attractions, but there are some great opportunities for outdoor activities nearby the city. Red Rock Canyon is one such place. Featuring a scenic drive and a variety of trails, there are numerous ways to experience this beautiful area.

3. The Neon Museum

This quirky museum features “The Neon Boneyard”, an eccentric “graveyard”. The final resting place of giant neon signs from times past, it’s a wonder to behold.

4. The National Atomic Testing Museum

When you think of the history of Las Vegas, you might think of either the glamorous casinos and entertainment or the more sordid history of organized crime. The National Atomic Testing Museum, however, brings light to another part of the area’s dark history. It offers a look at atomic testing that went on in the area.

This attraction offers a fun sightseeing opportunity and some mouthwatering candy! Located in the Bellagio Hotel is a giant chocolate fountain. While you can’t drink from the fountain itself, this sculpture is part of a candy shop where you can grab plenty of delicious treats to enjoy.

10. Mindfreak

Finally, if you’re looking for an out-of-the-box experience you can sit back and enjoy, consider seeing Criss Angel’s Mindfreak magic show. Far from your traditional card tricks or pulling a rabbit out of a hat, Criss Angel rose to fame with some mind-boggling stunts such as levitating over Vegas. While the shows are a lot of fun to watch, they can contain some elements that could be scary or disturbing to younger children – something to keep in mind if traveling with family.
