Aruba COVID-19 Entry Requirements Travelers Need To Know

Aruba is well known for its pristine white sand beaches, turquoise ocean, colorful architecture and a vibrant art and social scene.

Aruba’s tourism was decimated by the pandemic but has began its recovery by opening for international tourists. 

Here are all the latest COVID-19 entry requirements for Aruba and everything travelers need to know before booking their trip.

Countries Permitted To Visit Aruba

Effective Feb 3, 2022, Aruba is open to all countries.
The previous risk levels are not longer in effect.

Travel Authorization To Visit Aruba

All travelers headed to Aruba must complete an online immigration form prior to arrival (E/D Card).

Aruba COVID-19 Testing Entry Requirements 

All travelers must present one of the following to be allowed entry into Aruba:

  • Proof of vaccination (must include booster shot for ages 18 and older)
  • Lab-certified 24-hour antigen test
  • Lab-certified 72-hour PCR test

    Children aged 11 and younger are exempt.

Travelers are required to upload their vaccination card or test results to their online ED card (see above) prior to travel. If you are using proof of vaccination, you should fill out the ED card form between 3 days and 4 hours of arrival in Aruba.

Quarantine Entry Requirements 

Travelers arriving in Aruba who provide a negative COVID-19 test or vaccination certificate are not required to quarantine.

COVID-19 Travel Insurance Entry Requirements 

All incoming travelers must Purchase the official Aruba Covid Coverage insurance for the duration of the trip.

Effective 1 August 2021, a flat premium of $15 is charged for stays not exceeding 180 days. 

COVID-19 Health Requirements While in Aruba

All travelers must follow health protocols while in Aruba including: 

  • Download the Aruba Health App 
  • Agree to health screening and temperature checks upon arrival
  • To wear a mask during the flight and at the airport
  • Wear a mask, practice social distancing, and get tested when instructed

COVID-19 Vaccine Entry Requirements 

Those who are fully vaccinated do not need to provide a negative COVID test upon entry. Visitors aged 18 and older must have had a booster shot.

Accepted vaccines include: Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssen, and Novavax.

Visa Entry Requirements For Aruba During COVID-19

All travelers arriving in Aruba will need to follow regular visa requirements.

Use the official Aruba Tourism page to find out if you need a visa before traveling to Aruba.

Travelers that require a visa must apply at the Aruba embassy/consulate in their home country.

Aruba Covid-19 Entry Requirements:

  1. Complete online immigration form
  2. Check if you need a visa for entry to Aruba.
  3. Upload a negative COVID-19 or proof of vaccination before arrival.
  4. Follow all health protocols while in Aruba
