The Cosmopolitan: Best Fountain View Suite in Las Vegas
We LOVE suites (hate staying in a hotel room that looks like every other hotel room and is like a box) so we did a TON of research on hotel suites in Vegas. The Cosmopolitan came up on top!
We looked through all of Ceasars, Bellagios, Wynns, Four Seasons, etc… and SO glad we booked this hotel! BEST view of the fountains and lowest on the price scale compared to other rooms of equal size!
*2019 UPDATE!
The Cosmopolitan has just undergone incredible renovations to over 3000 of it's rooms, with further updates happening throughout 2019.
The Wrap Around Terrace Fountain View Suite has been updated since we stayed in it, and for the best! The new colours and vibes are super modern! They even updated the WiFi network to have faster connections in the rooms. YAY!
Here are the new renovated Wrap Around Terrace Room photos:
The Room -- Wraparound Terrace Fountain View Suite
Best Fountain View Suite in Las Vegas is the Wraparound Terrace Suite at The Cosmopolitan!
They say the inside is 1200 sq ft but in all honesty it feels much larger! Very luxurious and stately.
We were literally floating above the fountains and had such a great view of the strip!
The room has a full kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, wine cooler- perfect for entertaining!
The entryway in the suite is a large mirrored foyer with a hallway to the FULL guest bath. Separate living/dining areas, and then the bedroom with it's own terrace and massive posh bathroom with double sinks (on each side of the walk in shower) and huge Japanese tub. Slippers and robes in the closet. Smoke free and wonderful! Bed was clean, comfy and pillows were great. We had read a few reviews about noise, but ours was very quiet and we could not hear any other guests.
- 1200 Sq Ft
- 1 Bedroom
- 2 Bathrooms
- Full Kitchen
- Balcony
We stayed in room 2193 for 3 Nights in Nov/16. Disclosure: Hotel did NOT host us.
The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas Hotel Review:
The Cosmopolitan is for:
– People who LOVE a good strip view, view of fountains
– Couples, friends, groups
Check-in: Added our Marriott loyalty to the booking to collect points. Our agent Kendahl was super friendly, nice, efficient and professional. He blew us away with his service!
WIFI: Worked the entire time. Medium/High speed. The TV can stream from your phone and we played music with no issue whatsoever. I was able to upload a video and we went ‘LIVE' on FB from inside the suite with no cut outs.
FOOD and RESTAURANTS: LOTS to choose from!
I snuck downstairs to the Starbucks one morning to save on room service (located near Vegas Blvd entrance).
For a late dinner we did burgers, fries and shakes at Holstiens (2nd level) and another night we made reservations at ‘Beauty and Essex' (3rd level) which was a very cool experience and highly recommended.
There is a ‘convenience store' near the check in counter as well.
ROOM SERVICE: We did breakfast for room service. It was fast considering the size of the hotel, warm, and very tasty. I went healthy with a asparagus omelette and Trevor went naughty with a nutella filled french toast that was INSANELY good.
SMOKE:
I am a super sensitive non smoker. I LOATHE it. The rooms were completely smoke free. The casino… not the worst I have every experienced, but not the best. We tried to avoid it but it was tough to do at night. I would give the smoke rating a 6/10.
NIGHTLIFE: We are not partiers, but Marquee is located in this hotel that people adore.
POOL: Was closed for our visit.
Shopping: BEST swimsuit place on the 2nd level (Molly Browns) If you need beach wear, go there!
Location: Right in the middle of everything. You can walk around as you please in the heart of the strip!
Where we booked to get the best rate:
We searched them all! For about a week we scanned all the major booking sites and here are the results:
Hotels Combined & Last Minute Travel Club came out on top (tied!) with the lowest rate for the Cosmopolitan.
Tied in second place (and with the best photos/descriptions) came Hotels.com and Priceline
The Fountain View
Incredible. Panoramic. Unbeatable!
The Cosmopolitan Summary:
The Cosmopolitan has major value for square footage compared to any other large 1 bedroom suite in Vegas. Doesn't matter if you are booking a romantic getaway or a weekend away with friends, this room will not disappoint! Hands down, the Best Fountain View Suite in Las Vegas!
Booking Tip: We looked around online and compared different prices for booking The Cosmopolitan and we found that Hotel's Combined came in with the lowest rate on the Wrap Around Terrace Fountain View Suite.

it's ridiculous that you rate smoke smell at a casino resort
