Mexico has quickly become one of the most popular travel destinations during the pandemic due to having some of the easiest COVID-19 entry requirements in the world.
Its stunning beaches, tropical climate, vast history and vibrant culture brings in almost 50 million tourists a year making it the 7th most visited country in the world prior to the pandemic.

Countries Allowed To Enter Mexico
Travelers from ALL countries arriving by air are allowed to enter Mexico.
(Visa requirements still in effect for countries that require one)
COVID-19 Testing Entry Requirements
Mexico does NOT require a negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid antigen for entry.
Testing to Return Home
Now that the USA, Canada and UK all require 72-hour negative Covid test in order for travelers to return home, all major tourism hubs in Mexico have testing facilities to help with this requirement.
Some hotels are offering free tests for guests, while others help guests obtain a test for a fee.

Quarantine Entry Requirements
Quarantines are NOT required for travelers entering Mexico. Visitors are free to explore as soon as they arrive.
Health Form
Like most other nations, Mexico now requires a completed Health Declaration Form be filled out before entry into the country.
The online form is easy to fill out. Once you are done, it will display a QR code. Take a screenshot of this or print it out, as you will need to show it at the airport.
Have the form ready before the airport security screening as it will be checked before being allowed to proceed.

Flight Connectivity to Mexico
Mexico has some of the best connectivity in the world right now. For those looking for fast non-stop flights to Mexico check the Cancun International Airport. Every major city in the United States and Canada is now offering non-stop flights.
Large cities in Europe and even far flung destinations like Istanbul have also added direct flights to the tourism hotspot of Cancun.
Travelers have flocking to both Cancun and Mexico City as the two main entry airports for Mexico.

Mexico has not announced any plans to make a proof of vaccine record (POVR) mandatory for entry in the future.
