According to the Princess Cruises website, the first available reopening sailing will be targeted for November 4th, 2020 out of Perth Australia
Sailings have been canceled through Dec. 15 on all travel into and out of ports throughout Asia, the Caribbean, the California coast, Hawaii, Mexico, the Panama Canal, South America, Japan and the South Pacific, Princess Cruises said in a press release.
For all guests affected by the cancellations, Princess Cruises is offering guests 125% future cruise credit which is valid until May 1st, 2022
If passengers choose a full refund, they will receive the original cruise cost.
Guests may request a refund using the Princess Cruises refund form.
On June 6th, Princess Cruises also added the following cancellations.
“Due to extension of the closure of cruise ports in regions around the world and other factors impacting international travel, Princess Cruises is extending its pause in cruise operations with respect to the following voyages:
- All cruises sailing in and out of Australia through mid-September on Sea Princess, Majestic Princess, Sun Princess and Sapphire Princess
- All cruises in and out of Vancouver and Seattle in September and October on Coral Princess, Emerald Princess, Grand Princess, Royal Princess, Ruby Princess and Star Princess
- Pacific and California Coast 7-day roundtrip cruises from San Francisco departing in September and October 2020 on Star Princess
- All roundtrip cruises from Keelung, Taiwan, departing August 2020 on Majestic Princess”
The following Princess Cruise Ships are scheduled to be reopening for sailings in September:
- Majestic Princess
- Sapphire Princess
- Coral Princess
According to the Princess website, health protocols have already been put in place but will be expanded prior to the relaunch of sailings.
