It’s Never Been Easier (Or Cheaper) To Fly To Puerto Rico
Just about every airline under the sun has come out with new Puerto Rico routes this past year, with the latest being Frontier.
The ultra-low-cost carrier just launched a whopping 8 new routes from the U.S. to Puerto Rico, not only expanding the range of schedules and destinations but bringing some much-needed price competition, too.
Between that and the fact that JetBlue, American, and Spirit have also introduced new Puerto Rico flights within months of one another, round-trip tickets have dropped to a little over $70 this season, marking a new low.
Prices can always fluctuate, so be sure to snag a good deal if you see one!
Cruise Passengers Will Get A Huge Upgrade, Too
Though most of the millions of people who visited the Caribbean hub last year traveled by plane, there’s no denying just how big of a cruise destination Puerto Rico is, and if you, too, have a days-long voyage planned for this summer, you’ll be happy to learn that you’ll be getting a new upgrade as well.
The iconic San Juan Port is currently undergoing a multimillion-dollar upgrade, which will include better amenities, higher-trained staff, and iron-clad schedules that make delays and mix-ups all but impossible – your dream getaway just got a whole lot better!

If you’ve grown tired of the same ol’ hotels with nothing new or exciting to offer, you’ll be happy to learn that there’s no shortage of gorgeous places opening in the country this year, and there’s something for everyone, too.
Just take a look at the newly opened Mariott Hotel Rumbao – it promises the perfect mix of tried-and-true service techniques and modern amenities.
Similarly, Hilton is planning to double its Puerto Rico presence by 2025, so you can expect several new branches to pop up all over the island’s stunning coastline this summer.
