These Ten U.S. Airports Offer The Most Direct Flights To Cancun
Before we take a look at ALL of the 38 U.S. cities – which currently allow travelers to fly direct to the Mexican city of Cancun – let’s first find out which airports in the United States offer the most direct flights, as well as:

1. Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW)
Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) leads the way when it comes to offering direct flights from the U.S. to Cancun, Mexico – with the airport operating multiple daily flights with the following airlines:

2. Houston (IAH)
The airport with the second highest number of daily – and non-stop – flights to the Mexican city of Cancun is George Bush International Airport (IAH), in Houston, Texas.

The major public airport in the Broward County of Florida state – Fort Lauderdale (FLL) – has three of America’s largest low-cost airlines currently operating direct flights to Cancun, Mexico, with these being:

A one-way ticket from this U.S. airport to Cancun could cost you as little as $73 in the coming summer months – with the journey expected to take just under two hours.
10. New York (EWR)
Another New-York based airport which offers direct flights to Cancun, Mexico, is Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). You will be able find non-stop flights from this transport hub to the Mexican city through the following airlines:

A non-stop flight from EWR to Cancun takes around four hours and there are currently seats for this journey available to purchase online from $161.
Some Of America’s Smaller Airports Also Offer Direct Flights To Cancun
It is not just America’s largest and busiest airports that are offering direct flights to Cancun, Mexico – with there also being a number of smaller airports in U.S. cities that allow travelers to fly non-stop to the Mexican city.
These include the likes of Milawaukee’s General Mitchell International Airport (MKE), Indianapolis International Airport (IND), Kansas City’s International Airport (MCI) and Valley International Airport (HRL) in the city of Harlingen, Texas.
Here are details of the flights on offer at these smaller U.S. airports:
General Mitchell International Airport (MKE), Milwaukee
Although this airport is only offering a handful of direct flights to Cancun a month, it is possible to fly non-stop to Cancun with Southwest Airlines from Milwaukee’s General Mitchell International Airport (MKE). The flight time is around three hours and forty-five minutes – and it is possible to book a seat on board from as little as $129 one-way.
Indianapolis International Airport (IND), Indianapolis
America’s largest low-cost airline, Southwest, is also offering direct flights to Cancun from the city of Indianapolis – although these are only available every Saturday.

Kansas City’s International Airport (MCI), Kansas City
Again, although only offering direct flights to Cancun on a ‘once per week’ basis, it is possible to fly non-stop from the U.S. city of Kansas to Cancun.
You can book a seat on board this flight from around $250 – which should take around three hours and twenty minutes.
Valley International Airport (HRL), Harlingen, Texas
Sun Country Airlines are currently offering direct flights from the city of Harlingen, Texas, to Cancun – with the flights operating on a Wednesday and Saturday each week.
The flight time is just over two hours, and it is possible to book a seat on board this flight from as low as $89 for a one-way trip.

Why would you leave Southwest out when they fly direct to Cancun from 20+ cities. By FAR more than any other airline!
