Spring break is right around the corner and although the world seems more locked down than ever, many Americans are still planning to travel. Despite new testing measures required for Americans returning home and the list of destinations accessible for tourists shrinking, many U.S. travelers are already planning their spring break vacations. According to a recent Expedia report, these are the Top 10 Destinations Americans are planning to travel for Spring Break 2021.

10. Maui

Maui starts off the list with its world -famous beaches, breathtaking sunsets and farm to table cuisine. The second largest island in Hawaii is known for amazing snorkeling that reveals a rainbow of colorful coral and tropical fish. 

9. Oahu

Oahu is the site of Pearl Harbor where Japanese forces invaded the United States in World War II. The island is known for the amazing Waikiki beach and north shore surfing.

8. Miami

“I'm going to Miami where the heat is on”. With beautiful weather, gorgeous beaches, Latin culture, diverse cuisine and a vibrant nightlife, Miami ticks all the boxes when it comes to one heck of a fun vacation. Miami restaurants are allowed 100% capacity and nightclubs can operate until midnight. 

7. Los Cabos

2. Riviera Maya / Playa del Carmen / Tulum 

The Riviera Maya including Playa Del Carmen and Tulum continues to explode in popularity.
