The cruise line Virgin Voyages is making an eventful comeback this 2022 after a long pause during the pandemic. A few months ago the company launched its second new cruise ship, the Valiant Lady, with a big party celebration in London, and also announced its partnership with the celebrity Jennifer Lopez as Chief Entertainment & Lifestyle Officer.
And now, Virgin Voyages is offering a major giveaway: 1,000 cruises! Winners will get a fully paid voyage and they will get to choose between the two ships, the Scarlet Lady—which departs from Miami— or the Valiant Lady—which departs from Barcelona— anytime between July 1 and October 31, 2022.
Those who win the “JLo's Epic 1000 Virgin Voyages Giveaway” can also bring a friend, the winning ticket includes a Sea Terrace cabin for 2 sailors. The contest will be open until June 29.
Winners will get to choose from different itinerary options —consisting of 4 to 7 nights— according to the vessel and port chosen. Each of the cruises Virgin Voyages is giving away have an estimated value of 4,050 dollars. Winners will get a very valuable experience for free!
How To Participate
According to the information stated on the official website, it’s very easy to participate: “All you have to do is take this quick quiz (and pssst, there's no such thing as a wrong answer!) and you'll be entered for a chance to win. It's sea-breezy like that.”
However, there are a few conditions, only adults —people over 21 years old— can apply and children are not included. Virgin Voyages cruises are for adults only, so parents and families with children under age must bear this in mind.
Also, there are a few restrictions regarding the country of residence. Those with legal residency in the United States— in any of the 50 states including the District of Columbia—, Puerto Rico, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Mexico, Germany, and Spain can participate.
Travelers interested in participating only have to answer a quiz, with a few questions. According to the information on the website, “it literally takes 2 minutes to enter” and it involves simple questions. Travelers do not have to make any purchase in order to enter the contest.
The promotion began on May 31 and will finish on June 29, 2022, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Winners will receive an email with further details on how to make their cruise reservations. Those who want to learn more about the terms and conditions of the giveaway can read the official rules.
Prize winners will also have the opportunity to upgrade if they are willing to pay the price difference—including taxes— for an even more exclusive experience.

Both ships —the Valiant Lady and the Scarlet Lady— include similar amenities like a boutique hotel vibe, elegant interiors, a tattoo parlor, a guitar room, giant hot tubs, boxing rings, and, of course, pools and restaurants.
Between both vessels, the main differences are the itineraries. From Miami, travelers will get to cruise on the Scarlet Lady and explore the Caribbean. Winners who choose this ship, depending on the chosen route, will get to visit The Bahamas, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, and Mexican beaches like Cozumel in Quintana Roo.
Those who chose the Valiant Lady will depart on an exciting journey in Europe and will have the opportunity —depending on the chosen itinerary— to visit fascinating destinations in the Mediterranean like the Adriatic Sea and stop at Athens and Dubrovnik or head to the French coast and visit Marseille, Cannes and make also a stop in Ibiza.
