Ice Skate in Greenville

In lovely Greenville guests can take a turn at an open air ice rink in downtown. UCB Ice on Main will open from November 12 to January 17th and will be hosting many events including $5 skating on Tuesday nights, Poinsettia Christmas Parade, Night of Lights and Cartwell Senior Nights, where those 5 and older receive buy one get one free tickets. 

Head Indoors For A Great Adventure

Flight is the ultimate family fun center. Everyone can enjoy loads of indoor activities including laser tag, a trampoline park, skating rink, and even flag football, soccer, and volleyball, all inside from the cold. The little ones will enjoy spending time in the Bounce House, while the older kids will love the arcade and rock wall. Flight also has many special programs planned for all ages, such as Flight Night, that are ‘seriously focused on fun’.

View Unique Topiary 

Spend a winter’s day wandering through magnificent landscape art at Pearl Fryar’s Topiary Garden in Bishopville. In the colder months at the topiary exhibits that line the home of Pearl Fryar remain green and display unique pieces of tree and yard art that cannot be missed.

Myrtle Beach is a great destination in the winter months as it is in the summer, but for different reasons.  In the winter, the crowds disappear and peak season prices plummet. The Old City Jail in Charleston is a place where you can get spooked all year round. This well preserved jail operated from 1802 to 1939, and also housed Civil War prisoners and 19th century pirates. The guides will tell visitors of the legends behind some of Charleston’s most famous criminals. Those interested in visitors from other planets should head to Bowman to the quirky UFO Welcome Center.Jody Pendarvis constructed a 42 foot wide flying saucer in his backyard. For just $20, you can see the inside of this residence that was designed to accommodate extra-terrestrials.

Enjoy A Wonderful Pub and Brewery Tour

You can have a wonderful evening on a tour of several of Charleston’s best pubs and breweries hosted by a local. The Original Pub & Brewery Tours of Charleston covers the best spots in the 10 block area of the charming historic district. The company also offers bus tours to local breweries and microbreweries, where guests can sample the brew. The annual Holiday Pub Crawl is back due to popular demand and operates from late November until early January.
