Ireland: Easy Direct Flights And No Entry Requirements For U.S. Travelers

Because of historical ties, Ireland is always a popular destination for U.S. tourists. And, better still, Ireland became the 8th nation in the world to drop all COVID-19 travel restrictions—including proof of vaccination.

It’s the ideal travel destination right now.

Ireland’s Current Entry Requirements

Ireland has no COVID-19 restrictions anymore. The Irish government—because of the Ukrainian refugee crisis and the decreasing dangers of COVID-19—ended restrictions last week.

Therefore, travelers no longer need:

  • Proof of vaccination
  • To fill in a passenger locator form
  • To undergo testing before or after arrival
  • Or to undergo mandatory quarantine

Also, Ireland has low internal COVID-19 restrictions. There is no mask mandate unless travelers test positive for COVID-19. All curfews, social distancing measures, and limits on gatherings are over. Bars, restaurants, and tourist attractions are open at full capacity with normal operating hours.

So, if you’re looking for a European vacation—Ireland currently ticks all the boxes.
