For a limited time only, Princess Cruises is to allow you the opportunity to book a place on one of their cruises with a deposit of just $1.

Yes, you heard that right, one of America’s most well-known cruise lines is to let you secure your place on one of their cruises – to a worldwide destination of your choice – for a single US dollar.

However, you will certainly have to be quick to take advantage of this deal – with Princess Cruises $1 deposit offer only running for a matter of days – starting on 30 June and finishing on 5 July.

And, if that offer wasn’t good enough already, you will also be able to save up to 40% on cruises for 2022 – as well as up to 25% off sailings set to depart in 2023 – all thanks to the summer discounts that Princess Cruises are also currently offering.

How Does The $1 Deposit Offer Work?

You may think that Princess Cruises $1 deposit offer sounds too good to be true, and that there’s probably a ‘catch’ somewhere.

Actually, there appears to be no ‘catch’ whatsoever – with the offer allowing passengers to book their place on one of the cruise ship company’s sailings by simply depositing just one US dollar.

And, this is certainly a great option compared to what Princess Cruises usually requires as an upfront payment – with a deposit of at least $100 – and up to $800 – normally having to be paid by anyone booking onto one of the company’s cruises.

The $1 deposit offer is applicable only to residents of the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Bermuda –  and who are at least 21 years of age – and for cruises that have a sailing duration of up to 55 days.

So, when will you need to pay the remaining balance?

After securing your place onboard your desired cruise – with your one dollar deposit – you will not have to pay the remaining balance of your booking until three months (90 days) before you are due to set sail.

Therefore – thanks to this generous offer from Princess Cruises – you will not have to worry about having the entire total amount for your desired cruise at your time of booking it, and will instead have sufficient time to budget your spending in order to pay the final balance closer to your time of departure.

How Much Should You Expect To Pay For A Cruise With Princess Cruises?

The price of a cruise – operated by Princess Cruises – varies depending on where the ship is sailing to and from, as well as the duration of the cruise.

For instance, if you are looking to book onto their 7-day Western Caribbean cruise – which sails to the likes of Mexico, Belize and Honduras – you can currently find fares starting from $499 per person.

It is important to note, however, that this price is already based on the discounted rate – currently available courtesy of the company’s summer sale – and is based on double occupancy.

Princess Cruise also offer cruises to a variety of other destinations around the world, including the likes of:

  • Alaska
  • Asia
  • Australia and New Zealand
  • Canada and New England
