Las Vegas is easily one of the most well-loved destinations for enjoying nightlife in the United States. Following various pandemic-related closures and reopenings over the past couple of years, you might be wondering what is currently open in the city. This list looks at 10 nightlife spots that are open in 2022. Because of the number of shows in the city that can fill a list on their own, this list instead just looks at nightclubs and bars.
1. Omnia
Omnia is one of Las Vegas’s most popular nightclubs, and for good reason. Located in Caesar’s Palace, this sprawling nightclub has 3 levels. This is a great option if you’re looking for a vibrant, all-night party – Omnia doesn’t close until 4 am.
2. Hakkasan Nightclub
Located at MGM Grand, this massive nightclub is technically a 3-in-1 combination – nightclub, lounge, and restaurant. In addition to having some drinks and a fun night dancing, you can also start the evening off by enjoying some high-quality Cantonese cuisine.
3. The Laundry Room
If you’re looking to mix things up from clubbing or traditional bars, you’ll definitely want to consider checking out The Laundry Room. This bar is an almost literally hidden gem that has a vintage, pre-prohibition theme and feel to it. It is strictly reservation only, as it has a maximum capacity of 22 people at a time, but it’s usually possible to book a week or so in advance.
4. Drai's Beachclub and Nightclub
Drai’s offers a unique draw right from the get-go – it’s a nightclub-dayclub combo on a roof. The dayclub section features multiple pools, with pool parties being held frequently, while the nightclub itself consists of several levels and two full-service bars. The pool section, during the summer, does also have nighttime pool parties.
5. The Golden Tiki
If you’re looking to venture off-strip a bit, check out the Golden Tiki. This modern recreation of classic tiki bars was opened in 2015 but has the feel of the bars it drew inspiration from. In addition to offering cocktails, the Golden Tiki also frequently features live music.
6. The Chandelier
The Chandelier is probably one of Las Vegas’s most recognizable nightlife spots, even if you’re not into the nightlife scene. Consisting of giant, multilevel chandelier rooms, it’s hard to miss. It’s also hard to not have a great time at this spot. There are three floors to the Chandelier, each with its own different vibe. They include a high-energy section near the casino on the 1st floor and a chiller cocktail lounge on the 2nd level.
7. XS Nightclub
If you love dancing, you’ll want to consider checking out XS nightclub. This lavish club is located at Encore Las Vegas. XS’s ambiance alone makes it worth adding to your night out – it features gorgeous gold decor and a poolside patio.
8. Oddfellows
Oddfellows lives up to its name and manages to offer a unique feel even in the midst of countless other nightclubs. This club isn’t as flashy as some of the other Vegas nightclubs, and it isn’t trying to be. Instead, it crafts a lively, fun-filled environment with weekly theme nights and some pretty decent prices on drinks.
9. Marquee
The Chandelier is actually not the only nightlife spot at the Cosmopolitian – you’ll also want to consider checking out Marquee, the hotel’s rooftop day/nightclub. The nightclub features seven bars spread out over three rooms – coming in at around 40,000 square feet total – making this a great option for those looking for some high-energy, all-night fun.
10. Oak & Ivy
If you’re looking to bar hop in Vegas or grab some drinks before heading out to other nightlife activities, you won’t want to miss adding Oak and Ivy to your list of stops. Located on the strip, Oak & Ivy offers some delicious cocktails and features an open-air patio overlooking the streets of Vegas.
