77% of American travelers will stay within the U.S. for trips this spring while those traveling abroad will be looking mostly to the Caribbean for warm weather. Other countries in the top 10 included the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Turks and Caicos, Aruba, Costa Rica and the Bahamas.

It came as no surprise that the top 3 destinations were in Mexico due to the relaxed entry requirements and great flight connectivity from U.S. cities.

Two noticeable destinations which dropped off the list from 2020 were Grand Cayman and London. Due to very tight travel restrictions currently in place, traveling to these countries for a vacation at this time was off the table. The international top 10 list was heavily dominated by warm locations that had no quarantine restrictions.
