Despite the events of the past year, beautiful hotels all over the US are still on track to open to guests for the very first time in 2021. Whether you’re looking for a weekend stay in the Catskills or a summery vacation at the beach, there are brand new hotels all across the Unites States for you.
Here’s your guide to the most anticipated hotels opening in the U.S. in 2021.
1. Palihouse – Santa Barbara, CA
Opened March 1st, 2021
Already ranked among the top five hotels in Santa Barbara, this hotel has had rave reviews throughout its first week. Its gorgeous Southwestern architecture sits among stunning landscaping in the heart of Santa Barbara. Located in the downtown Presidio Neighborhood, known for its open-air eateries and rich history, The Palihouse is also within a couple miles of the beach.

2. Chatwal Lodge – Bethel, NY
Opening Spring 2021
The Chatwal in New York City has been called the ‘Jewel of Manhattan.’ Now, this Spring, its sister hotel will open in the New York countryside, with an emphasis on luxury and harmony with nature. Relax at this country retreat located on sixty acres along the Toronto Reservoir. Its architecture will boast large stone fireplaces and pine columns. The spa and ‘farm to table’ kitchen will complete this resort’s escapist experience.
3. The Aman – New York City, NY
Opening Spring 2021
The Crown building has been a central point of Manhattan since 1921. Once the home of the Museum of Modern Art, the Crown Building has been completely renovated to house the new Aman Hotel. With its three-story spa, jazz bar, and garden terrace that overlooks Central Park, the Aman promises to stun.
One of their many unique features will be the twenty-two private apartments included in the hotel. The residents of these one- to six-bedroom apartments will have access to all of the hotel’s amenities. 4. Bishop’s Lodge – Santa Fe, NM
Newly Renovated and Opening Late Spring 2021
Closed in 2015 for renovations, this historic hotel will reopen in the late spring of this year. This hotel boasts over 300 acres of property located minutes from the beautiful downtown Santa Fe. To celebrate the first summer of their reopening, Bishop’s Lodge is offering a $100 per night resort credit to guests who stay for a minimum of four days at the resort to be used on anything from an art tour to a delicious dinner!
Enjoy adventures like fly-fishing, hot air balloon tours, and horseback riding, or relax and enjoy complimentary group yoga or a restorative massage. Booking is currently available as early as May 16, 2021.
5. The Cloudveil – Jackson Hole, WY
Opening May 2021
The only hotel located in the Town Square, this hotel will be at the heart of Jackson Hole. It will be a short walk from art, culture, and food as well as being only an hour south of Yellowstone National Park. The Grand Teton National Park lends its stunning landscape to the background of this hotel. With its signature Western style, this new hotel from the Marriott Corporation will open in May 2021.
6. Amrit Ocean Resort and Spa – Singer Island, FL
Opening August 2021
This Resort sits on seven oceanfront acres and offers private beachfront cabanas. Their kitchen and wait-staff fully-service the resort's 300+ foot beach frontage space. This resort places a great emphasis on their impressive spa services. Enjoy their daily complimentary yoga or book an acupuncture appointment. 7. Four Seasons Hotel – New Orleans, LA
Opening Summer 2021
It’s no surprise to hear that a Four Seasons opening is highly anticipated. This particular Four Seasons will sit in the central downtown area of New Orleans on the Mississippi River. Their private garden, rooftop swimming pool, and spa all promise to be luxurious. The building that will house the New Orleans Four Seasons is featured on the National Register of Historic Places and has been beautifully restored to become New Orleans’ latest luxury hotel.
8. Ambiente – Sedona, AZ
Opening Summer 2021
With an emphasis on blending beautifully with the stunning natural landscape of Sedona, The Ambiente is being built with sustainability in mind. This landscape hotel, a new style of hotel designed to help its guests get the most out of the beauty of their surroundings, will offer forty separate cube-shaped guest accommodations, each placed lovingly into the landscape to offer the best guest experience while causing the least amount of disruption to the natural plant and animal life.
9. The Aurum – The Catskills, NY
Opening Fall 2021
Not much is known yet about this luxury hotel, which will be located at the edge of New York’s beloved forests. The hotel will be made up of individual, private bungalows. And its outdoor gardens and 6,000-square-foot-spa will incorporate the much-anticipated Roman-style baths of this resort.
10. Montage Big Sky – Big Sky, MT
Opening Winter 2021
This mountain resort will offer ski-in, ski-out accessibility to 5,800 skiable acres. For those not wanting to brave the cold, the resort’s spa and game room, complete with a bowling alley, will delight and entertain. The Big Sky Resort focuses on delivering cozy comfort in a stunning location.
