Brits are wondering where they can travel right now as countries begin to reopen their borders for tourism.
Currently, there are many countries that are accepting British Tourists, with more being added constantly.
We have complied a complete list of countries that have reopened their borders for British Tourists. This list will be updated weekly as the news changes so rapidly.

Before we get to the list of countries, let’s clear the air about something else:
Are Brits Allowed To Travel Right Now?
Yes. Even though their are travel advisories in place for multiple countries, Brits are still permitted to leave the country as they wish. However, UK travelers could face quarantines upon returning home from certain countries.
Under each country below we'll list if British travelers will have to self isolate upon returning to the UK.
Important: All Brits traveling right now should ensure they have a travel insurance policy that covers covid.
Important Update
England has extended lockdowns through the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021. During this time leisure travel is NOT permitted.
At the time we published this article, back on July 3, 2020, MANY countries were allowing UK travelers. Now between the lockdowns, Brexit, suspension of the corridor list, and the new virus strains, the world is essentially shut for UK travelers at this time.
The below article does not necessarily reflect the correct list of countries that Brits can visit, as we had to pause updating it for now.
Countries that have reopened for Brits
We are only covering countries that do NOT require a quarantine period upon arrival.
Albania
Albania is accepting British tourists as of July 1, 2020.
Upon arrival in Albania, there are NO tests or quarantines required.
Returning Home: Brits WILL have to quarantine upon returning to the UK.

Antigua and Barbuda
Antigua and Barbuda reopened to Brits on June 4, 2020.
Travel requirements: Upon arrival, British tourists will have to take a covid test at the cost of £88.

Armenia
Armenia reopened for British Tourists on August 12.
Armenia is accepting tourists from all nations, making it a great option for many bi-national couples currently separated by travel bans.

Aruba
Aruba reopened for British Tourists on July 1st, 2020
Brits will have to fill out an online health declaration form and upload a negative covid PCR test 72 hours before boarding. This way, no test needs to be done upon arrival.

Bahamas
The Bahamas reopened for Brits on July 1st, 2020.
A negative-PCR test no older than 5 days before arrival is required, and travellers are asked to fill out an online health declaration before they fly.

Bahrain
Bahrain reopened for Brits in August
Arrivals will be tested at the airport at their own expense. If negative, a 10-day quarantine is no longer required.

Barbados
Barbados reopened for British Tourists on July 1st, 2020
UK residents will need to bring a negative-PCR test within 72 hours of departure.

Belarus
Belarus reopened for Brits on July 15th, 2020.
There are no quarantines for British citizens entering Belarus, but all arrivals must show proof of a negative PCR test result, taken no longer than 72 hours before arrival.

Belize
Belize reopened for Brits on August 15th, 2020
Travelers must download a health app prior to arrival and are encouraged to bring a negative covid-19 test.

Bermuda
Bermuda reopened for Brits on July 1st, 2020
To be able to head down for a vacation, UK citizens will need to bring a negative covid PCR test no older than 72 hours before boarding AND take another test upon arrival.
Returning Home: British tourists will NOT have to quarantine for 14 days upon returning to the UK.

Bonaire
Bonaire reopened for UK residents in October 2020
UK citizens will need to bring a negative covid PCR test no older than 72 hours before arrival, and fly in from either Canada, the Netherlands or Curacao.
Returning Home: British tourists will NOT have to quarantine for 14 days upon returning to the UK.

Bosnia and Herzegovina
Bosnia reopened July 16 and is allowing tourists from the UK
All tourists arriving into BiH must bring a negative PCR test taken no longer than 48 hours before arrival.

Brazil
Brazil reopened on July 3o and is now allowing UK travelers to visit.

Cayman Islands
The Cayman Islands, a British overseas territory, will open for tourism on November 1, 2020
Brits can visit, but with tight restrictions like a PCR test, 15 day quarantine, and the wearing of a health monitor.
Returning Home: British tourists will NOT have to quarantine for 14 days upon returning to the UK.

Chile
Chile is reopening for tourism on November 23rd, and British tourists will be permitted to enter.
A 72-hour PCR test will be required, as well as a contact tracing app, but no quarantines

Colombia
On Septmeber 21, 2020 Colombia reopened, once again allowing British tourists to enter.
On November 4th, they removed the PCR test requirement, making entry a breeze.

Costa Rica
Costa Rica will be reopening its borders for on August 1st to all travelers from the United Kingdom.
They have also just dropped their PCR test requirements, making for very easy entry.

Croatia
Croatia officially reopened for Brits on July 1st, 2020
Brits just need to fill out an online form before going, and show proof of accommodation or tourist-based activity.

Curacao
Curacao has the UK on their ‘medium risk' list
Brits can enter with proof of a 72-hour negative PCR test.

Cyprus
Cyprus has now included the UK on their ‘Category B' list for entry.
All arrivals will need proof of a negative PCR test administered no longer than 72 hours before arrival.

Dominica
Brits are permitted to visit the Caribbean island of Dominica as of August 7, 2020
A negative PCR test is required to enter, as is another rapid test performed on arrival.

Dominican Republic
As of July 1st, 2020 Brits can travel to the Dominican Republic
The PCR testing requirement has been removed, but some arrivals might be randomly selected for a rapid breath test.

Dubai (UAE)
Dubai, UAE is officially reopening its borders for Brits on July 7, 2020
Brits need to: register their ‘health declaration' on an app before their trip, bring a negative PCR test within 96 hours of boarding, and have health insurance to be able to enter.
Returning Home: Brits will NOT have to quarantine for 14 days upon returning to the UK.

Ecuador
Ecuador is now allowing British tourists.
There is no quarantine upon arrival, but a negative PCR test no older than 10 days is needed for entry.

French Polynesia
French Polynesia (think Bora Bora and Tahiti) will reopen for British tourists on July 15, 2020.
Brits must bring a negative covid PCR test before boarding the flight and they will be tested again on arrival.

Ghana
Ghana has reopened for tourism and is allowing Brits to visit, starting September 1.
All passengers must bring results of a negative PCR test, taken no longer than 72 hours prior to departure. The test must be taken in the UK. Another mandatory test will be performed at the airport upon arrival.

Guadeloupe
Guadeloupe has reopened to British tourists as of July 1st, 2020.
A negative PCR test is required for entry, as well as a health declaration form.

Guatemala
Guatemala has reopened to British tourists as of September 18th.
A 72-hour negative PCR test is required for entry, as well as a health declaration form.

Honduras
Residents of the UK are permitted to visit Honduras as of August 2, 2020.

Jamaica
Jamaica reopened for Brits as of June 15th, 2020
Jamaica is requiring all British visitors to first fill out an online Travel Authorization Card before they fly and they will be testing arrivals at the airport.

Kyrgyzstan
Kyrgyzstan reopened for British travelers
Travelers from the UK will not require tests or quarantines to enter Kyrgyzstan at this time.

Maldives
The Maldives are officially reopening on July 15th and accepting British tourists.
Brits will be required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test that was taken no more than 96 hours prior to departure.

Mexico
Mexico is now open for British tourists! In fact, it was one of the only countries that never actually really closed its borders to Brits in the first place.
No tests needed.
As of June, many tourist cities like Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, Tulum, Cabo, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan have reopened their hotels and are ready to welcome Brits.

Montenegro
Montenegro is accepting tourists from the UK
No tests or quarantines needed.

Nicaragua
Nicaragua never truly closed during the pandemic, and travelers from the UK are permitted to enter.
A 72-hour PCR test is needed, with proof of the negative results.

North Macedonia
North Macedonia is now allowing tourists from the UK as of July 1, 2020.
London currently flies direct to Skopje once a week on WizzAir. There are no tests or quarantine upon arrival in North Macedonia.

Panama
Panama has reopened for British Tourists as of October 12, 2020
Entry testing is a little more strict, with a 48-hour negative PCR test requirement.

Rwanda
Rwanda has officially reopened for tourism as of June 17, 2020 and is allowing Brits to visit.

Saint Barths
Saint Barths officially reopened to Brits in June.

Saint Kitts and Nevis
Saint Kitts and Nevis is now allowing visitors from the UK as of October.

Serbia
Serbia reopened to British tourists on May 22, 2020

South Africa
South Africa reopened on October 1, but didn't start allowing UK residents until November 13.

Tanzania
Tanzania started welcome Brits on May 18th, 2020
The Government of Tanzania is implementing temperature scanning and collecting tracking information for all international passengers arriving into Tanzania but have removed mandatory 14 day quarantine requirements on arrival.

Tunisia
Tunisia has now reopened for Brits as of July 1st, 2020
The UK keeps bouncing between Tunisia's ‘Green List' of countries that can visit WITHOUT a test, and the ‘Orange' list with testing and quarantine needed.

Turks and Caicos
Turks & Caicos opened for UK travellers on July 22.
Brits can head down to the Turks and Caicos late July, but only by flying in, as the cruise ports are staying closed until at least September.
